CeraVe Moisturizing Cream for Psoriasis Treatment

Developed in collaboration with dermatologists, the CeraVe Psoriasis Skin Therapy Moisturizing Cream was designed to alleviate the symptoms of psoriasis and hydrate dry skin. This cream helps remove scales and dead skin while restoring essential moisture, thus preventing the recurrence of psoriasis symptoms.

The key ingredients in this formula include 2% salicylic acid, which provides relief from psoriasis-related skin itching, scaling, redness, flaking, and irritation; lactic acid for gentle exfoliation; three essential ceramides to promote optimal skin-barrier function; and moisturizing shea butter and urea, along with niacinamide to calm the skin.

The cream is formulated to be non-comedogenic, gentle, and non-irritating, with a fragrance-free formula. CeraVe's patented MVE Technology ensures a continuous release of moisturizing ingredients for 24-hour hydration.

Suitable for use as a face cream, hand cream, or general moisturizing cream, the CeraVe Psoriasis Cream is formulated to relieve, moisturize, and gently exfoliate dry, itchy, rough, and bumpy skin, particularly those prone to psoriasis.

After cleansing with the CeraVe Psoriasis Cleanser, the Psoriasis Cream can be applied to the skin one to four times daily, or as directed by a doctor. The three essential ceramides (1, 3, and 6-II) in the formula help restore and maintain the skin's natural barrier.

The CeraVe Psoriasis Cream is recognized by the National Psoriasis Foundation and is both fragrance-free and non-comedogenic. Users should be aware that the product contains an alpha hydroxy acid, which may increase skin's sensitivity to sunburn.
